This role carries great responsibility, but also a unique opportunity to work with the team, our members, and the wider community to transform the Serbian IT sector into an even stronger pillar of the economy and exports.<\/p>\n We want to be the voice of the industry before key institutions and work together to create a business environment that positions Serbia as one of the most attractive destinations for global IT companies.<\/p>\n I believe our joint initiatives will contribute not only to the development of the industry, but also to Serbia\u2019s overall economic growth,\u201d<\/p>\n \u2014 Mihajlo Po\u0161ti\u0107, Chair of the SITE Governing Board and Director at DXC Luxoft Serbia<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Among the newly elected board members is Marina Varzar<\/strong>, Director at DataArt<\/strong>, who highlights the global competitiveness of Serbian talent and the importance of continued investment in their development.<\/p>\n \u201cCurrently, Serbia has around 100,000 ICT professionals, with approximately 6,000 new graduates entering the labor market each year. Companies like DataArt work closely with educational institutions to ensure a steady flow of skilled professionals.<\/p>\n Serbian talent is highly competitive on the global level, but continuous investments in education, training, and professional development are crucial to maintain this momentum. Another key factor is the set of financial incentives introduced by the government a few years ago.
