Many more IT companies from Serbia are expected to join in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>As a <strong>non-profit organization<\/strong>, SITA mission is to foster a favorable business environment for IT companies, improve regulatory frameworks, support the development of local talent, and promote Serbia as a leader in the IT industry.<\/p>\n<p>SITE is committed to advocating for a better legal framework that enables the growth of IT companies, provides business-friendly conditions, and enhances the competitiveness of the Serbian IT sector on the global stage.<\/p>\n<p>Through various initiatives and collaborative activities, SITE aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support the development of local IT talent,<\/li>\n<li>help address key challenges such as talent retention and upskilling,<\/li>\n<li>increase foreign investment in Serbia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>New Governing Board Elected<\/h3>\n<p>During the Association\u2019s General Assembly, the <strong>Governing Board<\/strong> was elected and consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mihajlo Po\u0161ti\u0107<\/strong>, Chair of the Board and Director at DXC Luxoft Serbia<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marina Varzar<\/strong>, Director at DataArt<\/li>\n<li><strong>Goran Priji\u0107<\/strong>, Director at EPAM Systems<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dragan Popovi\u0107<\/strong>, President at AIGO<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vasily Markov<\/strong>, Owner of Way4Services<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slobodan Bogdanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Director at Endava<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Governing Board is chaired by <strong>Mihajlo Po\u0161ti\u0107<\/strong>, Director of <strong>DXC Luxoft Serbia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt is a great honor to be elected as the Chair of the Governing Board of the Serbian IT Association. Companies like DataArt work closely with educational institutions to ensure a steady flow of skilled professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Serbian talent is highly competitive on the global level, but continuous investments in education, training, and professional development are crucial to maintain this momentum. Another key factor is the set of financial incentives introduced by the government a few years ago.
