Celebrating Two Years of Excellence

The Serbian IT Association (SITA) recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating its second anniversary with an evening of elegance, connection, and reflection. To honor two years of growth and collaboration within the tech ecosystem, we gathered at the prestigious St. Regis Belgrade, a venue that perfectly mirrored the ambition and sophistication of our community.

The heart of the celebration was a cocktail networking event, bringing together approximately 70 distinguished guests. The room was filled with a vibrant mix of our dedicated members and strategic partners, the very people who have fueled SITA’s journey from a nascent idea to a cornerstone of the Serbian IT landscape.

The atmosphere was one of shared success. Amidst the backdrop of Belgrade’s finest views, attendees exchanged insights, forged new alliances, and toasted to the future of innovation in the region.

The formal part of the evening featured inspiring addresses from those who have steered SITA toward its current success:

• Marko Vučetić, Director of SITA: Marko reflected on the association’s rapid evolution over the past 24 months, highlighting the collective strength of our members.

• Mihajlo Poštić, President of the SITA Board: Mihajlo shared the strategic vision for the coming years, emphasizing our commitment to advocacy, education, and global competitiveness.

• Darija Petrov, Executive Assistant Manager Rooms St. Regis Belgrade: We were honored to have Darija address the crowd, welcoming us to the hotel and underscoring the synergy between world-class hospitality and world-class industry leaders.
