Celebration of 104 Years of the National Employment Service
Representatives of the Serbian IT Association attended the ceremonial marking of 104 years of operation of the National Employment Service, held at the Ložionica venue in Belgrade. The event brought together numerous representatives of institutions, the business sector, and organizations that actively contribute to the development of the labor market in Serbia.

The program opened with introductory addresses by representatives of the National Employment Service, who emphasized the importance of long-standing cooperation with partners and continuous adaptation to modern challenges in the labor market.
The central part of the event was a panel discussion entitled “The Labor Market in Transition: Occupations as the Foundation, Skills as the Key to the Future,” which addressed key issues related to changes in the structure of occupations, employers’ needs, and the development of relevant skills. The panel was moderated by Vukašin Grozdić, IT and e-Government Consultant.
Following the panel discussion, certificates of appreciation and awards for outstanding cooperation in the field of employment were presented. The Serbian IT Association was among the 20 recipients of the plaque, recognizing its contribution to improving employment and fostering the development of the IT sector in Serbia.

On this occasion, Marko Vučetić, Director of the Serbian IT Association, noted that the award confirms the importance of cooperation between the IT sector and public institutions: “The digital industry plays a key role in transforming the labor market, and through our partnership with the National Employment Service, we strive to further connect companies, talent, and the education system.”
The event concluded with a cocktail reception and networking session, giving participants the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss future initiatives and collaborations.
