SITA, DataArt and YugoLogo Host “Yugo.logo/Data” Exhibition in Niš
The Serbian IT Association (SITA), in partnership with DataArt, YugoLogo, and the Science and Technology Park Niš, is organizing the exhibition “Yugo.logo/Data”, dedicated to the IT legacy of the former Yugoslavia. The event will take place on February 6, 2024, at 3 PM at the premises of STP Niš.
The exhibition will showcase logos and visual identities of pioneering IT companies and institutions such as Mihajlo Pupin Institute, Elektronska Industrija Niš, Novkabel, and Velebit, which played a key role in the development of computing and technology in the region.
A Visual Journey Through IT History
“Yugo.logo/Data” will highlight the creative and technological heritage of the former Yugoslav IT scene, through design elements that once represented innovation, engineering excellence, and progress.
In parallel with the exhibition, the Serbian IT Association and Science and Technology Park Niš will sign a Memorandum of Understanding to support joint innovation initiatives, exchange of knowledge, and development of collaborative projects aimed at strengthening the IT sector in Serbia.
The event is supported by Flow Ninja, a company from Niš, and the City Municipality of Crveni Krst Niš.
We warmly invite everyone interested in technology, design, and local innovation history to visit the “Yugo.logo” exhibition, which will be open to the public at STP Niš during the event.
