Speed Collaboration Session: Synergy that Drives Domestic IT

First Meeting of the Working Group for Synergy of Small and Large Enterprises Held

The Serbian IT Association (SITA) successfully organized its first in-person meeting of the Working Group for Synergy of Small and Large Enterprises, titled “Speed Collaboration Session”. The event was held in the pleasant premises of the Mainstream company, which hosted this innovative networking format.
The main goal of this initiative is to create a strong domestic ecosystem where smaller IT firms connect with larger systems for joint participation in major projects and tenders. Instead of large companies outsourcing services outside our country’s borders, the aim is to seek resources, intellect, and capacities within the domestic association, thereby opening doors to new, global markets as well as domestic ones.

Vision and Goals: Why is Synergy Important to Us?

The event was opened by the association leaders and hosts, who pointed out the immense potential that lies in better connection of domestic IT forces.

  • Marko Vučetić, Director of the Serbian IT Association, thanked the attendees for their time and emphasized that forming this working group is a key step toward creating tangible value for all members through formats like this.
  • Simo Vuleta, Coordinator of the working group, further introduced the purpose of the “Speed Collaboration” concept and guided the participants through the agenda, highlighting the importance of quick and efficient information exchange.
  • Aleksandar Nedeljković, on behalf of Mainstream, expressed great satisfaction with the turnout and pointed out that this number of gathered companies clearly demonstrates the market’s real need for professionals from various IT fields to get to know each other and connect.

Dynamic Format: From Elevator Pitch to “Speed Dating”

Around 20 selected IT companies participated, and the program was divided into three key phases that ensured maximum productivity:

  1. Portfolio Presentation (Elevator Pitch): Each company spent a few minutes presenting its core expertise, market focus, and specific areas where it is looking for partners or offering cooperation (ranging from AI consulting, iGaming, and fintech, through cloud migrations and enterprise solutions, all the way to QA and WordPress development).
  2. Speed Dating (5 minutes for action): The most dynamic part of the evening. Participants had exactly 5 minutes each for “one-on-one” conversations, exchanging contacts, and quickly identifying common business grounds. At the sound of the alarm, a rotation followed, allowing everyone to talk to everyone else without wasting time.
  3. Networking & Catering: After the formal rounds, the conversations continued in a relaxed atmosphere over cocktails and catering, where ideas born during the quick meetings were further elaborated.

We are proud of the diversity and expertise of the companies that recognized the importance of this event and took an active part in the discussion and business matching: Mainstream (event host), ARS, Angry Lynx, IT Engine, Creomate, Quadro Consulting, Yettel, Tech Tailors, Protocol.io, Crayon, Aigo, EPAM Systems, Netfork, Hyperether, Finiti, New Look Entertainment.
