As part of its ongoing activities, the Serbian IT Association has launched a new initiative titled the “Working Group for Synergy Between Large and Small Enterprises,” aimed at strengthening collaboration between large IT systems and small and medium-sized IT companies in Serbia. The working group was formed in response to the need for greater cooperation within the industry, better utilization of existing capacities, and a more coordinated presence in both domestic and international markets.

Through open and practical collaboration, members of the working group will have the opportunity to develop cooperation models that can contribute to strengthening the entire IT ecosystem. The focus will be on joint participation in projects and tenders, opening new markets, exchanging experts on specific projects, as well as making more efficient use of the knowledge and resources of member companies of Serbian IT Association.

The coordinator of the working group is Simo Vuleta, an experienced IT leader with more than 15 years of professional experience in both domestic and international companies. Throughout his career, he has held leading managerial and technological roles, and his international experience and understanding of various business models will be a significant contribution to the work of the group.

The first initial meeting of the working group has already been held, where participants discussed concrete steps for initiating cooperation among companies. One of the first tasks defined was mapping the capacities and service portfolios of the companies participating in the group. It was proposed that data on services, expertise, as well as the frequency of future meetings and communication methods among members be collected through a survey. Participants also agreed that there is significant room for collaboration between companies providing different IT services, as their competencies can complement one another and help create more comprehensive offerings for complex projects.

The establishment of this working group represents another step toward strengthening cooperation within the IT community in Serbia and creating new business opportunities for companies of different sizes by connecting knowledge, experience, and market contacts. The Serbian IT Association will continue to develop initiatives that encourage joint market presence, knowledge exchange, and the long-term development of the domestic IT industry.
